MIKE MIDDLETON

Trained at Farnham Art School, Sheffield Polytechnic, and Chelsea School of Art as a painter and printmaker.He is a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (elected 1981)and teaches at Colchester School of Art and DesignHis work reflects a wide ranging set of interests from classical imagery, to more contemporary concerns. Originally an etcher, he now works primarily in relief printing and silkscreen. Just recently he has undertaken a research project on digital printmaking and computer generated images. Both of the works below are a result of these recent endeavours.
